| Title | University of Essex Future Leaders Fellowships Masterclass: Spring FLF Writing Workshop |
| Category | Research |
| Overview | This course is primarily aimed at Essex-based early career academics who are actively preparing an FLF application in Round 11 (2026), and those supporting their applications.
Candidates should:
• be seriously and actively working towards applying for an FLF application in Round 11 (2026).
• have had, and be in, discussion about their FLF ambitions with their DoR, HoD and networks.
• have thorough knowledge of the scheme.
It is recommended that candidates should have attended (or already received training materials from) Masterclass sessions 1 and 2 (webinar; seminar), held autumn 2025. If you did not attend these sessions (or receive materials, if you were interested but unable to attend), and/or are not very familiar with the scheme’s purpose and requirements, it would be advisable to target a future round of the FLF instead. We will be running the FLF Masterclass (provisionally, autumn 2026) in preparation for Round 12 (2027).
Preparation work:
• candidates must have a working draft of their FLF sift outline to develop/discuss during the session.
We should note that, regretfully, for Round 11, the University of Essex is unable to support FLF applications from external candidates or internal candidates not on permanent contracts.
This course is not suitable for UG or PG students. |
