Overview | Whether you're planning your own application or advising and mentoring others, this informal workshop is designed to help you align your application with expectations for one of the Leverhulme Trust’s most popular Fellowship schemes and increase your chances for success. The focus will be on the Leverhulme Fellowships but will also be relevant for those applying for Emeritus Fellowships.
Led by a current member of the Leverhulme Research Awards Advisory Committee, Professor Paul Bou-Habib (Government), the workshop will cover:
• Understanding key criteria used in assessing research proposals and shortlisting.
• Understanding the key factors that make applications stand out or fall short.
• Practical tips and strategies to develop compelling proposals.
• Q & A with advice from Prof. Bou-Habib and Kai Yin Low, RDM (Arts and Humanities, REO)
Paul Bou-Habib has been a member of the Research Awards Advisory Committee at the Leverhulme Trust since 2023. His research focuses on a range of issues in contemporary political theory. He is currently writing a book entitled The Brain Drain: A Moral Assessment. |
