Title | Tackling Misogyny, Sexism, and Sexual Violence Against Women - Part 1 |

Overview | Part 1: Part 1 of this course will focus on introducing participants to legislative and institutional definitions of misogyny, sexual harassment, and sexual violence. Participants will be encouraged to think about different forms of misogyny and individual and societal impacts of misogyny. Participants will also discuss what sexual violence is and learn to challenge commonly help myths about what causes sexual violence. (LO1, LO2, LO3, LO4)

Learning outcomes | - LO3: Be able to reflect on structural misogyny and the wide-reaching societal impact that it has.
- LO1: Be able to identify the legislation definitions of misogyny, sexual harassment and sexual violence, as well as the institutional definitions and position.
- LO4: Understand what sexual violence is and challenge commonly held myths about what causes sexual violence.
- LO2: Be able to identify different types and forms of misogyny and the impact that it can have on those who experience it.
