Overview | For those not in a management role who are aspiring or preparing to be a manager. The workshop provides an opportunity to develop your knowledge on the role and responsibilities of a manager and identify actions in outlining your continuous personal development towards the a managerial role.

The training is delivered as a face-to-face programme.
Objectives:
- Understand the role and responsibilities of an operational first line manager.
- Identify options to support clear goals and actions for your manager's development plan.
If attending this event falls outside of your usual working hours, and you incur additional costs due to caring responsibilities, you may be able to claim towards this. One claim per year, of up to £150 is available through the Career Development Fund for Carers. Further information is available on the staff directory or speak to your Line Manager.
