OverviewThis two-day programme explores the role of an Operational team leader and those who have responsibility for coordinating operational staff. The programme provides opportunity to develop your knowledge on different aspects of the team leader role. If you have any further questions about the programme or would like support with an individual learning need, please don’t hesitate to contact develop@essex.ac.uk prior to session to enable the trainer to support you as best as possible. The training is delivered as a face-to-face programme. Outcomes: - Understanding the role of a team leader and motivating staff - Understanding solution-oriented decision making and crisis management - Co-ordinating and developing a cohesive team If attending this event falls outside of your usual working hours, and you incur additional costs due to caring responsibilities, you may be able to claim towards this. One claim per year, of up to £150 is available through the Career Development Fund for Carers.
