| Overview | This online interactive workshop aims to introduce the policy process in Government and the role and use of research evidence with a particular focus on data science, AI and cybersecurity. The masterclass is run by Government civil servants from the Open Innovation Team who will give a first-hand insight into the policy process.
This session is aimed at academics, research and professional services staff (involved in research management) at all levels and PGR students.
After this session you will be able to:
Understand how your research can influence national policy;
Identify the various areas that your research on AI and Digital can inform policy;
Have an insight into how academic research and expertise is used within the policy making process. |
