Visit the Zoom web page for instructions: This training is delivered on a Windows machine using the latest version of PowerPoint from the Microsoft Office 365 suite. Participants wanting to follow along, should make sure they have the software installed before the session starts. Essex members can find instructions for downloading the software for free onto your personal device at: OUTLINE In this course, you will learn how to add content such as text, images, hyperlinks, audio and video. We will also look at adding animations and transitions to slides to increase interest and engagement, and how to navigate your slides when presenting. Following this course, you should be able to: • Create a new presentation, insert text onto a slide and apply basic formatting. • Work with the slide layout placeholders to ensure consistency throughout your presentation. • Insert and edit images. • Create and work with tables and charts. • Use features to produce speaker notes.
