| Overview | Periods of organisational change can leave people feeling uncertain, unsettled, or unsure about what the future might hold. This workshop offers a reflective and supportive space to pause, make sense of professional transitions, and begin thinking about what might come next.
Drawing on established frameworks for understanding change, including the work of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross and William Bridges, the session explores how individuals experience transition not only at a practical level, but also in terms of identity, purpose, and professional direction.
These perspectives can help normalise the emotional and psychological dimensions of change, while offering language and structure for making sense of complex experiences. Participants will engage in a structured “career lifeline” exercise, reflecting on key moments in their professional journey and identifying the strengths, resources, and capabilities that have helped them navigate challenge and uncertainty in the past. This exercise often reveals patterns of resilience and growth that can support future decision-making. The session combines short conceptual
inputs with guided reflection and small group discussion. It aims to create a thoughtful and respectful space where colleagues can share perspectives, reconnect with their professional values, and gain greater clarity about their next steps. The workshop does not aim to provide answers or prescribe solutions. Instead, it offers practical tools and
reflective frameworks that can help individuals move forward with greater awareness, confidence, and a renewed sense of agency during times of change.
