You learn:

• the art of drawing upon and incorporating other people’s ideas within your own work
• an introduction to the Department Style Guide
• quotation and paraphrasing (which to use when? why and how?)
• understanding referencing conventions and the Harvard system
• referencing different source types (e.g. books, journal articles, web pages, government documents etc)
• understanding plagiarism and how to avoid it

This workshop is open to all students.
