02 February 2015: Essex academic awarded over £540,000 research grant

Dr Neli Demireva from the Department of Sociology has been awarded a major Horizon 2020 grant.

The project, GEMM: Growth, Equal Opportunities, Migration and Markets, focuses on ethnic inequality, and is worth 2,498,510 euros of which 716,546 euros (approximately £541,321.84) will come to Essex on successful completion of the grant agreement.

Neli is the coordinator of the project and Principal Investigator for the UK.
