20 February 2012: Professor Colin Samson to speak at United Nations Expert Seminar

Professor Colin Samson, a leading academic in the study of indigenous people from the Department, is to speak at a United Nations Expert Seminar at Brunel University.

The event, which takes place on 8-9 March 2012, examines the role of languages and culture in the promotion and protection of the rights and identity of indigenous peoples.

Professor Samson will present on indigenous cultural destruction.
