20 October 2011: Professor Diane Elson presents at University of Manitoba

During 17-20 October 2011, Professor Diane Elson visited the University of Manitoba to present at the prestigious Robert and Elizabeth Knight Distinguished Visiting Lecture held at the University of Manitoba, which focused on issues relating to the economic implications and consequences of human rights.

The two presentations were titled:

"Human Rights and Budget Deficit Reduction: The Case of the United Kingdom"

"Human Rights and the NAFTA"
