24 August 2011: Michael Bailey invited to be a member of the Co-ordinating Committee for Media Reform

Michael Bailey has been invited to be a member the Co-ordinating Committee for Media Reform (CCMR). The Committee has been organised under the auspices of the Goldsmiths Leverhulme Media Research Centre and has the support of major media reform and pressure groups such as the Media Standards Trust, Voice of the Listener and Viewer, Campaign for Press and Broadcasting Freedom, 38 Degrees, Meccsa Policy Network, MediaWise, National Union of Journalists, Compass, Coalition of Resistance.

The aim of the Committee is to ensure the most productive intervention possible into both the Leveson Inquiry into press regulation and ethics as well as the ongoing Communications Review launched by the Department for Culture Media and Sport.
