Postgraduate students

Ask a postgraduate

Ask an experienced postgraduate student about living and studying at Essex through our online mentoring scheme. Our mentors will be happy to answer your questions at any stage during your postgraduate degree.

Your Student Services Hub provides support for students from Foundation studies through to PhD. Every year we see a third of all students registered – you don't need to have a problem to visit us, just a query.

PGR Supervisor of the Year Award 2019

Following the success of the inaugural Supervisor of the Year Awards in 2018 the nominations for the 2019 competition are now open! The award will be given to the individual who has created the most supportive, stimulating and inspirational research environment for doctoral students.

If you feel your supervisor would be a worthy recipient, please complete the nomination form (.pdf).

You have until 17 February 2019 to nominate your supervisor. Please email pgresearch@essex.ac.uk for more information and to submit your nomination.
