The University of Essex is delighted to again be a sponsor of the Colchester Half Marathon, which this year takes place on Sunday 29 March.

The race is already full, but as the sponsor of the race T-shirts, the University has been given 40 free places for staff or students who have not yet entered but would like to take part.

The event is also looking for any volunteers to be marshals on the day. This is a great event which raise thousands of pounds for charity so the more volunteers they get the better.

Leading up to the event, our sport scientists and experts will again be offering valuable tips to runners.
