Essex is holding a special event next month for those after a fresh educational challenge.

The Postgraduate Open Evening on Wednesday 5 March will offer people the opportunity to find out everything there is to know about postgraduate study at one of the country’s leading research-intensive universities.

Ranked ninth in the UK for the quality of its research, Essex postgraduates are taught, supported and supervised by academic staff who are world leaders in their fields. In the most recent National Student Survey, Essex came second for student satisfaction.

About 200 people attended the last postgraduate open evening, where they got to ask academic representatives about taught courses and research study at Essex.

Dan Barcroft, Head of Home and EU recruitment, explained: “Essex’s outstanding reputation for research and teaching means we are a great choice for postgraduate study, and you can see all of this for yourself at our Postgraduate Open Evening.”

The open evening takes place from 4pm-7pm in the Ivor Crewe Lecture Hall on the University’s Colchester Campus. Potential students are advised to book a place in advance.
