Tips and advice from the Pop-Up Careers Café

Author of Confessions of a Fashionista Angela Clarke was among the alumni who came back to the Blues Café at our Colchester Campus to offer advice and support to our current students about breaking into the publishing world.

Others supporting the event were author Oli Dean, writer and publisher Julia Jones; author and literacy expert Emma Kittle Pey plus The Rabbit editorial team and student bloggers.

The event was open to all, but particularly targeted at students interested in writing and publishing from the Department of Literature, Film, and Theatre Studies, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Study in the Jumanities (CISH), School of Philosophy and Art History, Department of History, School of Law and the Human Rights Centre.

The event was organised by Rose Matthews Employability Coordinator for the Faculty of Humanities.
