Students from the Faculty of Social Sciences who achieved excellent results in their first and second years of study were recognised at a celebratory event hosted by the Faculty's Executive Dean Professor Todd Landman.

Now members of the 2013 Deans list, 200 students celebrated with fellow high-achievers and shared their experiences of studying at the University.

Student volunteers taking part in extra-curricular activities at Essex also attended the event to highlight the importance of these activities for employability, including a Masters student, Frontrunner and Santander Internship student.
