Essex student releases second time-lapse video

Colchester Campus

After his first time-lapse video went viral, Morten Rustad has now released part two, capturing another 15,000 pictures of University buildings, the surrounding landscape and life at our Colchester Campus.

Morten, a first year BSc Business Management student attracted coverage from BBC Look East, the Times Higher Education and BBC Essex online with his first video and has now spent the last few months producing the second.

He said: “The second part of my time-lapse of the University of Essex’s Colchester Campus is finally out. Another 15,000 pictures have been taken to make this video with the first part focusing on the University buildings and the surrounding landscape, and the second part showing life at the University and the students.”

Laura Shephard, our Digital Marketing Officer, said: "Morten’s first video generated huge interest from students, staff and graduates from around the world.  I knew that Morten was planning on capturing part two so I was excited when his e-mail popped up with his latest work. We hope that this video will be as popular as his first time-lapse."
