Korky Paul at Winnie the Witch Family Workshop
Children can have a magical afternoon of drawing with illustrator Korky Paul at a Winnie the Witch Family Workshop from 2 to 4pm on Saturday 15 June.
The workshop will be held in the Ivor Crew Lecture building at the Colchester Campus and is part of the 'What is a witch?' series led by Dr Alison Rowlands, Head of the Department of History.
Children will be able to come and find out the role of an illustrator and discover their own unique style. They will also be able to explore the world of Winnie, and find out where some of these characteristics may have come from historically, and illustrate their own witchy world.
The session will include:
- Story read by Korky Paul himself!
- Mini ‘masterclass’ in the art of drawing.
- Lots of great materials and guidance for fledgling illustrators to create their own witchy ‘world’.
Unfortunately the event is fully booked.
