Learning about the law

Colchester Campus

Land registration, insolvency and an update on the Mental Capacity Act are just some of the legal matters being covered by the University of Essex’s forthcoming series of talks for the legal profession.

Organised by the University’s School of Law, with the Suffolk and North Essex Law Society, Select 2009 takes place at the University’s Colchester Campus or University Campus Suffolk’s Waterfront Building in Ipswich. The lectures run from March through to July, with more planned for September and October.

The cost of each course is £80 for SNELS members and £120 for non-members. Each carries three CPD points and is accredited by the Law Society, the Solicitor’s Regulation Authority, the Bar Council, the Institute of Legal Executives and the Council of Licensed Conveyancers.
