University of Essex Online, in partnership with Essex Business School, has announced the launch of a new Masters in Business and Management, which will be delivered entirely online using a virtual learning platform.
The new course, which will have an initial intake in February 2013, is aimed at graduates who wish to stand out as effective leaders and managers, providing analytical and project management skills relevant to a wide range of corporate careers.
The MSc Business and Management is an advanced qualification that will prepare students for the challenge of providing strategic direction and leading change in a variety of organisations, both within the UK and internationally.
David Dixon, Academic Director for University of Essex Online, said: “Postgraduate courses, often taught within a single year full-time, are by nature extremely demanding and require a high degree of commitment to complete. The flexibility of our postgraduate course online allows busy professionals to study at their own pace and focus on the areas of business that are of interest to them. Employers increasingly value the specific skills that higher-level qualifications provide and we believe that our postgraduate students will be well prepared to succeed in their careers.”

To encourage students who have studied previously with University of Essex Online, graduates will be eligible for a loyalty discount of ten per cent of the postgraduate course fees.
