Departmental procession form
Please provide the names of academic staff (including the Head of Department) who would like to participate in your department's academic procession for Spring (April) 2025 Graduation. The deadline for the submission of names is Friday 21 February 2025 5PM.
Should you have any additions after submission please submit a new form.
Please note: alterations to your procession(s) can be made up to and including Friday 21 February 2025. We will not accept any further alterations to processions after this date except in cases of illness.
The information required has been separated for members of staff who have taken part in academic processions before, and for staff who have not. This will allow us to collect robe and hat information for anyone who has never taken part in Graduation.
More than one ceremony?
If your Department or School has more than one Graduation Ceremony, please complete a form for each one. Please do not send the information on a spreadsheet or Word document.

If a member of staff processed more than three years ago please resubmit their all the information as requested in Section 2.
If any of the staff listed above have been awarded a higher qualification since they last processed, or if they have received the wrong robes, please provide details below.
Important: please include the following information for each member of staff:
- the name of the member of staff
- their new qualification eg. MA, PhD
- the University where the award was achieved from
- the year the award was achieved

Important: please include the following information for each member of staff
- the name of the member of staff including title
- their latest qualification e.g. MA, PhD
- the University where the award was achieved from
- the year the award was achieved
- height (feet/inches or metres)
- hat size* (inches or cm, cm preferred)
* The measurement for the hat size should be taken around the circumference of the head (above the ears and across the forehead) unless the hat size is known.

If you would like to book CEREMONY tickets for any academic/administrative staff that are not taking part in the procession, please detail how many you would like:
Please note that if staff are not seated 25 minutes before the start of a ceremony, the seats will be used for guests.
If you would like to book RECEPTION tickets for any of your academic/administrative staff that are not taking part in the procession, please detail how many you would like:
Ceremony and Reception tickets will automatically be allocated for those members of staff who are on the platform. Please do not include them in your request.
