Graduation

Book your place

Three graduation students

You must confirm that you're attending Graduation even if you have no guests coming. Booking for Graduation is now closed and will reopen in Spring 2019.

Graduation takes place at our Colchester Campus every July. All eligible students studying at the Colchester, Loughton and Southend Campuses are invited to attend – this includes final year students successfully completing non-grade improvement resits, HSC undergraduates who completed after July 2018 and postgraduate students completing their degrees in Autumn Term 2018.

All eligible students will begin receiving emails about Graduation in the Autumn Term via their Essex and external email addresses. If you are finishing your studies in the Autumn Term, please make sure you update your external email address in myEssex as this will be how we tell you about Graduation next year.

We are also pleased to offer the opportunity for students to attend a University of Essex graduation ceremony in Asia, taking place in Beijing on Saturday 23 February 2019. If you will be living in Asia by then, happen to be there travelling, or would like to attend both ceremonies on campus and abroad, then please register your interest using the link below so that we can send you information on how to book your place soon.
