Award Certificates

All students receive (free of charge) one copy of the award certificate and one copy of the academic transcript (if applicable) when they graduate. The award certificate is the official document issued by the University confirming that the former student has attained an award and contains the award title, course name and the date that the award was conferred.

If students finish their studies in June or July and do not attend a Graduation ceremony, the award certificate will be posted automatically in August to the home address as recorded on myessex.

If students finish their studies between August and the following May, again the award certificate will be posted to the home address on myessex within 28 days of receiving the award letter.
