Abstract
Cosmopolitan sexualities has been advancing globally for the past half century. In this talk Ken will introduce the idea, trace its evolution and suggest the problems it faces.

Biography
Professor Plummer has taught at Essex from 1975 to 2005, when he retired. He has written widely and his new book Cosmopolitan Sexualities will be published in 2014.
