Strategic Projects Office

We can help with everything from a quick chat about a project idea you might have, right through to helping support large change projects. We can provide help for a range of project related queries, including:

• advice on project reporting (.pdf, Essex users only)
• an overview of what happens at the project related committees

• help support a workshop or information gathering event for your project
• Lean and Process Mapping advice and support

One Stop Shop Guide

A One Stop Shop Guide has been created as  'go to' guide for Project Managers or Sponsors to use when working on a project, and is designed to allow you to easily dip in and out, depending on your experience and current role. There are many Toolkits, individual documents that explain a particular topic, provide examples and templates, and where necessary also highlight further reading and/or videos and online training that you can do.The Guide outlines:

• the stages and decision gates within a project
• the types of activities you should be working on at each stage of a project
• where there is essential output required as part of the formal Project Management Framework
• toolkits, supporting materials, guides and templates for each area of work on the project
