Admission criteria
You should have a 2:2 degree, or equivalent. We particularly encourage applications from business management, social sciences and humanities backgrounds, but we will consider applications from other relevant backgrounds.
You may also be considered with a lower class degree, if you have three year’s relevant work experience in a field such as: Human Resource Management, Management or Project Management (please provide your CV).
IELTS (International English Language Testing System) code
If English is not your first language we will require IELTS 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in writing and 5.5 is all other components.

A course qualifier is a bracketed addition to your course title to denote a specialisation or pathway that you have achieved via the completion of specific modules during your course. The
specific module requirements for each qualifier title are noted below. Eligibility for any selected qualifier will be determined by the department and confirmed by the final year Board of
Examiners. If the required modules are not successfully completed, your course title will remain as described above without any bracketed addition. Selection of a course qualifier is
optional and student can register preferences or opt-out via Online Module Enrolment (eNROL).

External examiners
External Examiners provide an independent overview of our courses, offering their expertise and help towards our continual improvement of course content, teaching, learning, and assessment.
External Examiners are normally academics from other higher education institutions, but may be from the industry, business or the profession as appropriate for the course.
They comment on how well courses align with national standards, and on how well the teaching, learning and assessment methods allow students to develop and demonstrate the relevant knowledge and skills needed to achieve their awards.
External Examiners who are responsible for awards are key members of Boards of Examiners. These boards make decisions about student progression within their course and about whether students can receive their final award.
Programme aims
- To develop students as effective, but critical, agents of organisational change management by providing them with the requisite intellectual, analytical and communicative capacities, and skills and knowledge.
- A systematic understanding of knowledge, and a critical awareness of current problems and/or new insights, much of which is at, or informed by, the forefront of the field of organisation studies and organisational change management.
- A comprehensive understanding of techniques applicable to the study of organisations and organisational change management.
- Originality in the application of knowledge, together with a practical understanding of how established techniques of research and enquiry are used to create and interpret knowledge in organisation studies and organisational change management.
- Conceptual understanding that enables:
- critical evaluation of current research and advanced scholarship in organisation studies and organisational change management.
- critical evaluation of research methodologies and the ability, where appropriate, to propose new hypotheses or research questions.

On successful completion of the programme a graduate should demonstrate knowledge and skills as follows:
