We offer a range of Pre-Sessional English Language (PSE) courses taught by University of Essex International College (a Kaplan International Pathways college based at our Colchester campus) and, for Chinese residents we offer programmes with our partner organisations in China (designed and developed by Essex Pathways).
The courses are designed to either support you to achieve the English level required in your main course offer, increase your confidence with UK academic study skills, or both!
To apply for a programme please input your details below and select the programme that you are interested in. We will check your responses and if you are not eligible for the programme you have applied for, we will offer you an alternative where possible.
If you would be eligible for more than one programme, we will offer you the shortest programme, unless you have selected a Pre-Sessional English Language with Study Skills (PELSS) programme, in which case we will assume you have selected a longer course because you would like the study skills element of the programme.
