Students Staff

Essex Summer Taster Week 2020

Every summer we hold a series of exciting taster days for students in year 11 and those studying at sixth form and college level. These events will give you an in depth experience of studying a subject at university, as well as providing an opportunity to speak with current staff and students.

Our taster week will include different taster sessions every day with different faculties. You may book onto as many or as few taster days that suit your interests.

Can’t see a subject that interests you? No problem. We add new events throughout the year so send us an email at to let us know what area you’re looking for and we’ll let you know if we have an event planned. All events are open to students attending as individuals, or to teachers bringing groups of students. We offer a travel bursary up to £50 for individuals and £250 for school groups of 10 students or more to cover your travel costs for the Taster Day.
