Welcome to the registration pages for BAAL 2024 at the University of Essex on the 5th-7th September 2024.  

Tickets:

We have two ticket types. The first is for the full conference (Thursday-Saturday) and the second is a day rate. Prices include lunches and refreshments as well as parking, if needed. 

There is also an option to purchase a ticket for the conference dinner which will be hosted at Wivenhoe House Hotel on Friday evening. There are 100 tickets available for this. 

Early bird rates for the conference are available until July 20th, 2024, and there are specific rates for BAAL members, non-members and students. When booking as a BAAL member please include your membership number after your name. 

Accommodation: 

Accommodation is available on the University of Essex Campus for all delegates. The rooms rates are £55 per night (including breakfast) or £49 per night (room only). Accommodation consists of single en-suite bedrooms within self-contained flats. You will have access to a shared kitchen and you will be sharing the flats with other delegates from the conference only. 

These rates include complimentary toiletries, Wi-Fi access as well as access to the on-site fitness facilities, which include a gym and fitness studio.

Location:

The University of Essex is located within the beautiful Wivenhoe Park https://www.essex.ac.uk/wivenhoe-park and all conference activities will be taking place at the Colchester Campus.
