Module description

This course will focus on expanding vocabulary and improving listening and oral skills. During the first term we will consolidate grammatical structures, whilst on the second term we will also work on more advanced grammar. Through the use of authentic texts, films and conversation with native speakers, students should acquire a wider knowledge of the Spanish and Latin American culture and history.
The course is divided into topics and we will dedicate between two to three weeks to each one.
The topics covered are:
* La emigración española
* Los jóvenes españoles
* La revolución familiar
* La moda
* La Universidad en España
* La comunicación
* El fotoperiodismo

Module aims

To reach the equivalent of a B2.1 at the end of the year.

- Communicate about topical subjects.
- Improve vocabulary about specific topics.
- Widen knowledge of Spanish and Latin American culture and history.
- Being able to debate and maintain a conversation on current affairs in Spanish.

4 classes per week for 21 weeks in which we practice the 4 language skills: reading (vocabulary), grammar, listening and conversation.
