Learning and teaching methods

The module aims are achieved through a range of activities, both in class (4 contact hours per week) and outside, with the use of a dedicated online learning platform (Moodle). Authentic (textual oraudiovisual) materials are used for listening and reading comprehension, analysis of content and language, development and consolidation of vocabulary and grammar, and as a basis for discussion and presentations (oral and written). They include media reports, books, films, etc. Students' work is reinforced by feedback from staff in class, in office hours, or online.
