This module provides students with the opportunity to gain experience in planning a short project to formulate a research proposal and thus engage with the research process.

The module will combine a number of different teaching approaches, incorporating lectures, group work, computers skill based sessions and student led session to introduce key concepts in healthcare research while relating it to everyday practice. Students will have individual supervisors and meetings are to be negotiated between student and academic supervisors during the course of Year 3.
