This module is designed to examine issues of mental health and ill-health and the impact these have on human performance. A variety of issues will be explored from a bio-psychosocial perspective. The complexities of occupation are considered and the role of the occupational therapist in enabling clients and carers to deal with the effects of mental-ill-health will be examined.
