Module description

The aim of the module is to introduce students to models and perspectives of health shaped by culture and society. Students will begin to explore concepts of ethics and values in relation to the above and consider the impact that this can have on the service user. In addition the concept that health care should be based on good, sound evidence will be explored. Students will gain experience of working in inter-professional groups and use a range of communication strategies to foster collaborative working, including the use of Moodle.
