This is a full year module available only to those students on degree courses which include the placement year. Students will undertake their placement at a host organisation. The student will be responsible for securing the placement with the assistance of the School and the Employability & Careers Centre.
The aim of the module is to give the student the opportunity to put their academic learning outcomes into a work context and to add work related learning outcomes to their portfolio.

Syllabus
The syllabus will be developed around the learning outcomes for each student and will be recorded on the training agreement signed by the student, the host organisation, and the University.
The learning and teaching methods will be dependent on the placement and will be recorded for an individual student on the training agreement signed by the placement provider, the student, and the University.
