Learning Outcomes:
To pass this module students will need to be able to:
1. demonstrate sufficient knowledge and information of ecology to be able to contribute critically to a multidisciplinary view of environmental questions;
2. discuss why it is necessary for managers of natural resources to have an understanding of ecological theory and principles and their application within the environment;
3. understand the role of environmental science in the production of management plans, and applied management of natural resources;
4. show an understanding of the term, and discuss the need for, natural resource management.
