CERLB940SS Psychological Wellbeing Practice (Apprenticeship)
This non-credited module will run alongside the core PWP programme module. It will consist of tutorials to support PWP apprentices in reaching the academic and clinical requirements to complete the PWP programme and the apprenticeship End Point Assessment. There are no assessments in this module.
The apprentice needs to demonstrate they have achieved clinical competence in practice before they are eligible for the End Point Assessment. This would be assessed by the in-practice supervisor, with advice from the university tutor. This module will offer support with this process. The number of tutorials offered will depend on the needs of the individual apprentice.
Tutorials will also be arranged to support apprentices with academic issues prior to the start and during the programme.
1. Extend and improve knowledge, learning and performance and outcomes by applying methods and techniques learnt
2. Extend knowledge, learning and performance for the End Point Assessment
This module will run alongside the core programme.
Tutorials – individual with the university tutor and practice supervisor. These would be adapted to meet the needs of the individual apprentice.
Workshops – where appropriate workshops may be developed to support the apprentices with consistent themes. For example, a workshop may be developed on risk assessing if this is a recurrent issue with apprentices.
Apprentices will be expected to write short, non-assessed reflections on each tutorial, drawing on areas of progression and for development.
This module does not appear to have a published bibliography for this year.
