Module description

This module is a requirement of students who have completed the PGcert Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging modules and are continuing their studies to PGDip or MSc. It is a requirement from the Consortium of Sonographic Education that these students evidence their continued clinical engagement with the imaging modality after the competency assessments of SE709.

Learning and teaching methods

This module requires no university attendance. Students evidence the CASE requirement of 300 MSK scans per year to ensure skill fade does not occur. The log book record of scans is completed in the clinical environment - each record will be very concise.
