Module description

This course will focus on expanding vocabulary and improving listening and oral skills. During the first term we will consolidate grammatical structures, whilst on the second term we will also work on more advanced grammar. Through the use of authentic texts, films and conversation with native speakers, students should acquire a wider knowledge of the Spanish and Latin American culture and history.
The course is divided into topics and we will dedicate between two to three weeks to each one.

La emigración Española
Los jóvenes españoles
La revolución familiar
El cambio climático
La Universidad en España
La comunicación
Las mujeres
La monarquía

Module aims

Reach the equivalent of a B2 in the European common framework of reference for languages.

Module learning outcomes

How to communicate about topical subjects.
Improve vocabulary.
Widen knowledge of Spanish and Latin American culture and history.
Improve oral skills.
