Module information

These include educational, psychodynamic, social/situational and cognitive processes. In doing so, students will be exposed to how skills and knowledge can become transferable to a range of challenges and contexts which can then be applied to both personal and professional activities.

The module consists of taught sessions provided by the Module Leads and Module Tutors, and combines a range of teaching and learning approaches including participation in individual and group activities, computer- and library-based work, use of the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) (Moodle), self-directed learning, and formative feedback on a range of assessments. Time within lessons will be allocated for students to read key texts and to discuss findings. Time within lessons will also be allocated for students to complete essential practical paperwork and to evaluate their success.
