Classes include voice (speaking and singing), movement, character work in production, anatomy and physiology for the actor. The work of the module pays specific attention to clarity of diction under performance conditions.

  • To equip students with an understanding of basic anatomy and physiology for the performer

  • To develop students' clarity and confidence in speaking standard English

  • To allow students to explore acting processes in performance of a full length text

Module learning outcomes
