BA W494 Acting and Physical Theatre
Exploration of techniques of visual theatre through objects, puppets, elements of design and physical image.
Practice of methods and styles of puppetry and object manipulation.
Creation of a performance which emphasises the visual/kinaesthetic imagination.

- To develop techniques of visual theatre performance through the use of objects and images.
- Develop the ability to create a performance emphasising the visual imagination.
On completion of this module the student should be able to:
- Perform using basic puppetry and object manipulation techniques
- Realise the relationship of actor to object in visual theatre
- Work as an individual and as a part of a team
- Apply understanding of visual/ kinaesthetic imagination to performance
