Centre for Film and Screen Media

The Centre for Film and Screen Media combines expertise in film history, theory and practice, including cinema from the Americas, Europe, and Asia, documentary and experimental films, as well as feminist, psychoanalytic and Marxist theory, and postcolonial studies. The centre consists of leading academic film specialists and professional filmmakers with extensive industry experience.

Student showcase

The Centre for Film and Screen Media is both a research and teaching centre. Our film studies students run and work on individual film projects. To showcase their work, we set up a Vimeo channel. Have a look at what they have produced and get some ideas for future projects of your own.
