Publication of conference papers
 
We’re very pleased to announce that Liverpool University Press will be publishing the material arising out of this project in a dedicated American Tropics series.  LUP has a growing reputation for its work in postcolonial, Atlantic, and Caribbean studies: http://www.liverpool-unipress.co.uk/
 
The LUP American Tropics series will include a collection of essays developed from papers given at the conference.  If you would like your paper considered for the edited volume, please send a 500-word abstract to Susan Forsyth by the end of September 2009.  We will then be asking for completed papers by the end of March 2010, with a view to submitting the manuscript to LUP in September 2010 for publication in September 2011.
