Our LLM and MA courses are ideal for developing advanced expertise in human rights, commercial and public law, whether you are interested in professional practice or undertaking doctoral study.

We bring a truly global perspective to the law. Our teaching and research supervision draws on our experience of working with the United Nations, governments and businesses around the world.

Our LLM and MA courses develop advanced legal expertise in human rights, commercial and trade law, and EU law. You learn to analyse the law critically and to apply it in context effectively. Your education is enriched by the wide range of perspectives offered by our international community of staff and students.

We have a large and vibrant research community and welcome applications for PhD study.

As well as our expertise in public law and commercial law, we are internationally recognised as a leading centre of excellence for the study and practice of human rights. Our LLM International Human Rights Law is the oldest established human rights law course in Europe.
