On track at Essex bursary 2020-21

2020-21 entry

The University is offering a £500 cash bursary to support students progressing into higher education following the global pandemic.

Eligibility

Our bursary is available for students applying for undergraduate courses at the University of Essex, who complete the pre-Undergraduate Short Course, and who register with us for the academic year 2020-21.

What is the pre-arrival study skills course?

The impact of COVID-19 has been felt around the world and by all of us. We understand that one of the biggest impacts has been the disruption of the pandemic on your learning and assessment, and your experience of the final year of school. We know that getting back on track for university study might feel a bit daunting, and we want to do everything we can to help you to succeed, including additional support to ensure you have a successful transition to your course at Essex.

To do this, we have created a brand-new pre-arrivals programme to help you make a flying start with your learning. This six-week Pre-Undergraduate Short Course has been specially designed to help students who have experienced disruption in their final year at school towards success at Essex, and to realising your full potential for the future

How to join the course

  1. Register with Moodle X the online platform this course will take place on. You’ll need to select ‘Create new account’ at the bottom of the page.
