Indonesia Regional Scholarship

If you're an international student from Indonesia and you're funding your own studies, you could be eligible for a scholarship worth £3,000 which you'll receive as a tuition fee discount in your first year.

Eligibility

You must meet all of the following conditions:

  • be classified as international students for fees purposes, and permanently resident in Indonesia
  • be entirely self-funded
  • make Essex your firm choice by 18 September 2020 for 2020-21 entry*
  • make Essex your firm choice by 19 July 2021 for 2021-22 entry
  • be starting your first year of study on a degree course at the University of Essex in 2020-21, or 2021-22

* this includes applicants who apply to the University through the UCAS Clearing process.

Students who aren't eligible

You are not eligible for the award, even if you meet the criteria above, if you fall into any of the following categories:

  • your course is at East 15 Acting School
  • you are transferring into the second year from another UK higher education institution
  • you are fully or partly sponsored

If you meet all the eligibility criteria then you will automatically be considered for this award. You don’t need to complete an application form.
