Dr Mohsen is a lecturer in marketing and international business in Essex Business School, University of Essex. She got a PhD in Management from King’s college London, University of London with a thesis entitled “Enhancing inter-functional coordination and marketing performance”. Her research interest focuses on inter and intra firm relationship management to improve marketing and business performance.
Dr Mohsen obtained her first degree in computer science, from the American university in Cairo. She also got MBA from Maastricht School of Management with a focus in marketing management. Prior to joining Essex Business School, she worked as a market strategy and planning category manager for one of the main distributors of Proctor and Gamble in Egypt, which provided her with an exceptional exposure to how global companies develop and implement marketing strategies that enable them to be market leaders. She got outstanding IT, sales and marketing experience as she worked in different organisations in Egypt.
